So, how does Positions Explorer (https://ahrefs.com/positions-explorer) work? It's pretty simple! All you need to do is to submit your competitor's site for analysis and click 'Search'.

In a split of a second the tool will find and show you the keywords this site is ranking for in US and UK search.

By default the results in 'Organic Keywords' report are ordered by the 'Traffic' column which gives an estimate of how much traffic this site is getting from Google for each specific keyword. But you may actually click on any of the columns and re-order the list by the metric that is interesting to you.

As you see, Positions Explorer can give you a lot of insights about the ways that your competition is getting traffic from Google.
