In collaboration with Professor Peter Choong from Melbourne University, we're helping to repair defects seen in arthritic patients, with scaffolds and stem cells. We're recreating the exact type of cartilage that is missing.

The BioPen is a '3d printing pen' which surgeons can use to directly deposit stem cell-containing bio-inks to fill defects in cartilage.

A joint ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science (ACES) and Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) project.
