This is a documentary made by 3 ladies way back 2009 for their documentary project at Lyceum of the Philippines University. The 3 ladies took up and finished a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications namely Dana Mae Tabay, Valerie Valencia Baldos and Vanessa Mappala. This was taken at Baclaran, Pasay. The children found are real badjaos and are the escape-kids of Mindanao. They don't even know how old they are. Some of them doesn't know how to write. They get food from trash, and they earn money by giving envelops to passengers of public utility vehicles. They dance and sing, they produce music by means of pipes. On the last day of our stay at their location (last day of covering the story) we tried to bring them inside Mcdonalds Baclaran and to buy them some food to eat, but the guards didn't allow the kids because they are dirty, so we ended eating up in a jeepney parked on the same street. For questions and concerns, please email the video makers at valeriebaldos@gmail.com, Thank you.
