I have seen various versions of this bun floating around for a while now, but most of them require you to divide you hair into two sections: one for the bun and another for the braid. This is all good and peachy but it means anyone with thinner hair will not be able to achieve the look.

I figured, why not try to recreate the look but use the upper sections of hair to create the bun and then use the ends of your hair to form the braid? I think this look would be so classy for a romantic date, but it's also simple enough to be worn casually.

Rachel McAdam's wore this look at her sister's wedding in the Vow (movie w/ Channing Tatum). I cannot for the life of me Google and pictures, you can catch a 2s back view of it here http://youtu.be/8swF2-R6X9A?t=1m36s but if you saw the movie you'll know what I'm on about :)
