Strong shock-wave from a powerful coronal mass ejection impacted the earths magnetic field August 6th at 18:00 UTC, this high particle density stream could be from combined coronal mass ejections released August 3-4. Solar winds speeds jumped from 420 km's to 700km/s. The magnetosphere simulation shows major impact resulting in a G4 class geomagnetic storm.
