Here is a Fender Standard Fat Strat made in Mexico....all stock, it even still has the plastic on the pickguard and back plate for the trem cavity (to cover the springs). It took one fall and I show the battle scars...I highly recommend strap locks (any brand will do...I've switched to Dunlop myself...) to prevent this sort of thing from happening to you and your own guitar(s). I did a set up with a fresh set of D'addario XL's (.009-.042) and set the bridge flat against the body for the best resonance (these trems usually don't work well without doing some work or mods to the guitar anyways...graphite nut and string tree for instance...). The action is low, the neck is slim (and fast) and it plays and stays in tune great! The guitar is plugged straight into my Fender Super Sonic amp and there are no effects...not even reverb. I play it on the clean channel (on the Vibrolux setting) and then switch to the gain channel and use the natural built in tube distortion. I also use an Avatar 2x12 extension cab and all 3 speakers are 12" Hellatone 30's. Thanks for watching! Feel free to comment and correspond.
