Good News! Thanks to your help, the Pennsylvania House Health Committee will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, October 2nd in Room G50 of the Irvis Office Building in Harrisburg (no specific time has been set) to vote on the PA Breast Cancer Coalition's Senate Bill 358, on notification to women with dense breast tissue. We would love for you to be there for this historic event.
Dense breast tissue increases a woman's risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer at a later, more dangerous, less treatable stage. Many women with dense breast tissue do not know they have it and, if they do have dense tissue, a mammogram may not be enough to detect a lump or irregularity in the breast.
Senate Bill 358 will change that.
Our cause is gaining momentum and we truly believe that this bill will come to a vote in the PA House this October. Please tell your state representative to vote YES on our legislation to save women's lives.
Thank you for your support! Take Action. Save Lives.
Why should YOU support Senate Bill 358? For women in Pennsylvania.
