Sontronics founder & designer Trevor Coley introduces our new Sontronics ARIA valve microphone for vocals at the NAMM Show 2014. Designed and developed in the UK, the new mic was beta-tested by producer/writer Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence + The Machine, Paul McCartnery), singer/songwriter PJ Harvey and the engineers at Abbey Road Studios. The mic is already being likened to a vintage valve mic, and has been used on Abbey Road sessions alongside one of their classic Neumann U47s, as used by John Lennon himself! "ARIA is incredibly smooth with bags of character and it easily competes with any vintage valve microphone I've ever used." Paul Epworth, Producer/Writer (Adele, Florence + The Machine, Paul McCartney)
"ARIA is silky smooth with all the characteristics I'd expect from a vintage valve mic. Yet another well designed and beautiful sounding microphone from Sontronics!" Andrew Dudman, Recording Engineer, Abbey Road (Lord Of The Rings, The Golden Compass, Robbie Williams, Elbow)
