NITRO, SARGE, TYSON, SMOKEY, MASTERPIECE, & PENNY - VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIMES WORTHY OF ONLY MISDEAMEANOR PENALTIES COMPARABLE TO A TRAFFIC CITATION IN THE STATE OF OHIO! Ohio residents, your elected officials are not doing their jobs enacting protective legislation for your pets. Tolerance of violent crimes against animals & misdemeanor penalties only encourage & increase its continuance!

This video is just a small sample highlighting some of the violence done to innocent animals in this state and they're at an all-time high, while legislators continue dragging their feet to enact any sort of protective legislation. Violent crimes with lenient misdemeanor penalties, breed specific legislation, puppy mills, dog auctions, tax-funded, unregulated & inhumane animal sheltering utilizing unsafe and cruel euthanasia of carbon monoxide (gassing) and intracardiac injection (heart sticking) as population control of homeless animals ranks Ohio as one of the worst in the United States of America.

NITRO'S LAW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC63DA... is the legacy and testament in honor of a family's Rottweiler, Nitro, who was 1 of 8 dogs that starved to death in a tragic crime at a K9 training facility in Youngstown, Ohio. 19 dogs were starved with the majority of them being K9s in training for service to our country. These valuable and talented K9s came from all over the world, as far as Germany for elite K9 training and were entrusted to High Caliber K9 only to be callously and criminally mistreated by starvation. Nitro's Law was created as a felony provision and proactive legislative measure to increase the outdated misdemeanor-only penalties currently in place for violent animal crimes in Ohio.

In February 2009 'Nitro's Law' passed Ohio's House of Representatives and was assigned to the Ohio Senate's Criminal Justice Committee where it sat for 1 year grossly ignored by Chairman Tim Grendell and on December 31, 2010 Nitro's Law legislative window of opportunity ran out. On February 22, 2011 NITRO'S LAW was reintroduced by the original Representatives Gerberry & Hagan into Ohio's House of Representatives and we are now on round 2.

2010 closed as being the worst in Ohio's legislative history in which only 52 bills as opposed to the norm of 247 were enacted into law demonstrating the incredible abuse of tax dollars and incompetency at Ohio's governing level. It's a dire message of disregard and total apathy by any state that fails to enact protective legislation for any violent crime, regardless whether its animals or humans they're all connected and interwoven and all warrant them being FELONY crimes of violence.

Tragically, 8 dogs gave their lives in the birth of a new law for a better Ohio, join us in continuing their fight so that their lives were not in vain; NITRO'S LAW 2011 group link: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=g...
