Join us for breakfast with one of the most influential people in Australian ICT - Professor Hugh Bradlow, Chief Scientist, Telstra Corporation Ltd.

Professor Bradlow is globally recognised as a thought leader in telecommunications and we look forward to hearing from him over breakfast as he speaks about the incredible technological advances that will impact every aspect of our lives over the next three years and how businesses can prepare.

He will cover the "Internet of Things" which will see internet connectivity extend beyond just our computers and mobile phones; big data which will improve things from marketing to healthcare; and machine learning which will see programs like Siri and products like driverless cars become bigger parts of our lives.

Professor Bradlow is a graduate in electrical engineering and received the D.Phil degree for research in experimental nuclear physics from the University of Oxford.

Before joining Telstra in September 1995, Professor Bradlow was Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Wollongong in Australia and Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Cape Town.

Prior to becoming Chief Scientist he was Chief Technology Officer and Head of Innovation at Telstra, responsible for the introduction of new technologies into Telstra's business.
