My morning trip to the neighborhood Organic Farmers' Market resulted in quite a haul. I scored some purple basil that's soon going to be a lovely purple pesto, broccoli that Lucy picked out, some beets that will be roasting in my oven in a few minutes, patty pan squash and baby zucchini, cherry tomatoes in incredible hues of yellow, orange and red, Heirloom tomatoes and teensy purple and white new potatoes that I can't wait to cook. Am hungry now just reflecting on my bounty - come on over!
