A group I haven't shared in ages - Shinigiwa Satellite says hello.
To clarify one thing - this arrange is GODDAMN AMAZING. It's the best Rock/Metal arrange of Shanghai Teahouse I know of.
There's three reasons for it... of course, number one reason - Merami-chan does the vocals. That alone is equivalent to "we're talking high quality here." Really, for me, Meramipop as vocalist is enough to pay extra attention to an arrange - I admit that I'm pretty damn biased there.
The second reason - the base tune. Ei☆seitarou captures the elegance, upbeatness and calmness of the original tune very well. He (or she?) doesn't go totally bonkers with the instrumentals but keeps it somewhat light and energetic. If you can follow me.
And the last reason: The instruments. They keep the perfect balance between "fk yeah, let's headbang" and "hey, it actually got a melody!". The instruments used pack a lot of punch, but not too much. But neither are they too much in the background. I also love the way how the base tune is followed close to perfectly - though with rock instruments. Y'know, now that I listen to it again, I think it might fit pretty well as an opening or ending for an action anime - and as you all know, I love me some arranges that could be used for anime without much changes. Is there something I
particularly like... lessee - Nope, naught. This arrange is just very well rounded in my opinion, so there's nothing I particularly like or dislike about it.
With that said,
enjoy it,
Silver
PS: I actually intended to use http://www.zerochan.net/full/1464456 as pic, but that one is TOO awesome, even for a great arrange like this. I tell ya, last I checked there wasn't nearly as much awesome Meiling Fanart...
