On July 11, 2010, over 10,000 people participated in Major League Baseball's 2010 All-Star Game Charity 5K & Fun Run which raised more than $300,000 for City of Hope, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Stand Up To Cancer and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Participants ran and walked on a baseball-themed course featuring appearances by MLB legends, mascots and celebrity guests in and around Angel Stadium of Anaheim, home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and host of the 2010 MLB All-Star Game.
