You can take photos without flash or make clips in the permanent collections of this museum in Paris, France with no problem and do with them as you please, but any of the temporary shows, that sort of thing is forbidden.
This is in the permanent collections on the fourth level of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France (often referred to as "Beaubourg"). A métro station is RAMBUTEAU but this place is centrally located and there are lots of public transportation options.
On the first Sunday of every month, you can see the permanent collections here for free, but try to arrive early, as this place is known for long lines and crowds. Admission is always charged for the temporary shows elsewhere in this modern art museum.
This floor is so huge, we didn't even see everything this visit! There are lovely views of the landscapes around Paris from huge floor to ceiling windows.

I am available as a private guide. Paris really can be enjoyed on even modest budgets.
