Note: This is actually part 12 though I mistakenly said it was part 11. Returning to the language of Lumen Gentium, "Elements of sanctification and of truth" are "gifts" to the Church, i. e. actual hierarchical persons with ecclesiastical authority, not other various "Christian things" such as baptism or the Bible. While such sources ("gifts") of sanctification and truth (must possess lawful jurisdiction and faculties, the power and authority to forgive sins, and also be sources of infallible or indefectible truth and not merely passingly correct on some factual points, cannot apply to the non-Catholic ministers and gurus and rabbis and imams etc. intended, but only to valid and orthodox Catholic prelates. But it can apply to traditional bishops.
