Spent the day with a 3 month old baby elephant in the northern city of Chiang Mai. Elephant Carer Home is located 1.5 hours north of the city in deep jungle. We spent the full day feeding, showering, snuggling, and walking with these gentle giants. Our mahouts and tour guide spoke excellent English and were incredibly informative about all things having to do with elephant care. This was certainly one of our favorite experiences of traveling so far!
