I would tell one of my professors how ridiculous the class is, but i won't say anymore.

Once we were out of the sight of the entrance and all the photographers, he pulled back and grabbed my shoulders. It was Kevin.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Um..." I said still a little shocked.
"I know it can be kind of overwhelming the first time you go out, and everyone knows who you are..."
"But I didn't want..."
"I know. None of us wanted this to happen to you, but they know who you are now, and they're interested in you."
"Why would they be interested in me?"
"It's just the issue of the day. They're trying to figure all of this out, figure you out. But if you ignore it, soon another story will come up, and they'll move on."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but as long as you're with us, you're gonna have to be more careful. You can't go through a crowd like that alone and you'll have to learn to deal with it. Because now that people know you know us, they're gonna wanna talk to you."
I sighed. "Okay."
"Don't worry, we'll help you through all of this, okay? It's gonna be different, but you'll get used to it."
"Somehow, I don't think I'll ever get used to this."
He laughed a little. "Well, we'll just have to see, won't we?"
"I guess we will."
"So you okay now?"
"Yeah, thanks for saving me out there, Kev."
"No problem."
"I never got the SweetTarts I was craving," I mumbled.
"Well, why don't you come on up with me, and we'll see if we can't find someone who can get you some?"
"Really? You can do that?"
"Yeah, I mean, there have to be more perks for putting up with all that, right?" he said, motioning out towards the fans and photographers.
I laughed a little. "I guess."
"Come on." He put his arm around me and led me to the elevator.

As soon as Kevin told us what had happened, I knew I needed to talk to Hayley. I had promised her I wouldn't let anything happen to her. I went to her hotel room. There, I caught Cass leaving to go to the arena to help set up. He said Hayley didn't wanna come, so she was gonna stay there till after the concert when we were leaving for the next city. He seemed hesitant about it, but it was obvious he had been fighting a long battle by that point and had finally just run out of time. I told him I'd see if I could convince her to come with us when we left in about an hour. Once he left, I walked quietly to the bedroom and saw her with the guitar I had pretty much given her for while we were on tour, so that whenever a song came to her, she could just work on it. She was sitting on the bed, facing the window with her back to the door, and she was singing a song she hadn't sung for me before.

Your stuck on a chain
And your toeing a lie
Seems like everytime that you catch up
You only fall behind

And your trapped inside this world you made yourself
But that's not the world I live in
This is not the life for me
Cause my world is bigger than your problems
And it's bigger than me
That's not the world I live in
This is not the life for me
Cause my world is bigger than your problems
And it's bigger than me

There is always someone to blame
For the things you do yourself
You think that everything that's going wrong
Is because of someone else

Chorus

And it's bigger than me
Cause I'm on the outside and I'm looking in

Chorus

Cause my world is bigger than your problems
And it's bigger than me...

I slowly and quietly walked in and dove onto the bed behind her, so I was lying on my stomach. She nearly jumped out the window. I laughed a little.
"Way to scare the life out of me," she snapped.
"Well, I couldn't have done that if you're still alive, now could I?"
"All right, Mr. Technical," she said, getting up to put the guitar away. "How'd you get in anyway?"
"Your dad let me in on his way out."
"Oh."
"That song was really good, Hayls."
"You heard it?"
"Yep."
"You really have a problem with eavesdropping, don't you?"
"Why do you think I'm so quiet? This way I can listen."
"Oh I thought you were just caught up in yourself."
"Ha funny."
"I thought it was."
"ANYWAY. I don't eavesdrop normally, but it's just something about your singing. I hear it, and I just have to listen." I didn't realize what I was saying till I said it. Then I panicked a little.
