VIDEO NOTE to clarify some slightly incorrect information: Bodog.com was in use by a licensee of the Bodog brand, who was operating legally in the United States. They ended their contract some time ago, and Bodog.com has since forwarded to Bodog.eu, the European division of the company. In the video, I was incorrect that the website was "effectively shut down" by the domain seizure, but the following story is still just as bad as I thought, if not worse; the founder of the Bodog brand, Calvin Ayre, who is one of the indicted personnel, according to an official statement, had NOTHING TO DO with any gambling in the US!

This week (March 14, 2012) I'll tell you about how the State jailed a father and two women for continuing to cash the unemployment checks of a convicted murderer, a woman in Texas is being forced to buy water service under threat of having her home stolen from her, and the US can now seize any .com, .net, or .org domain name that it wants to for pretty much any reason! Plus, US courts are now indicting and issuing arrest warrants against foreigners whose website supposedly broke some US law while never having entered the US!
