Studying Spirituality as Both a Trait and a State: Findings from the SoulPulse Study Brad Wright is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Connecticut where he studies American Christianity and spirituality. Should spirituality be studied as a stable trait of the person, a temporary state that they enter into or both? This talk explores the interplay between spiritual traits and traits using data from an ongoing study that uses smartphones to collect daily diary data from participants.
