At the acclaimed conference, " I am my brother's keeper: Confronting Islamophobia in America", St. Mark's Cathedral, Seattle, Washington, May 6 & 7, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf talked with more than 500 people about what it means to be Muslim in America. For 28-years, Imam Abdul Rauf has been imam at Masjid al-Farah Mosque in New York City. He leads a Muslim community in Lower Manhattan and is speaking out about his goal of establishing a Muslim YWCA, the Cordoba Center/Park 51, two blocks away from the former World Trade Center.
