The Georgia Tech MBA Golf Classic is an annual tournament that brings GT students and alumni together and raises money to support philanthropy projects in the College of Management. One of the flagship philanthropy events that benefits from the Golf Classic is the St. Bernard Project, which was started to rebuild the St. Bernard parish in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Other events GT MBAs participate in is volunteering for MedShare, donating blood for blood drives and running races for various organizations including the Hunger Walk/Run. The MBA Golf Classic not only allows for these events to occur, but it also brings together students and alumni passions for business and golf.
