We are often called to rescue squirrels that get stuck in so called ''squirrel proof'' bird feeders. However, it does seem that some squirrels don’t read the description before trying to get at the food! This unfortunate fellow had managed to get its back legs stuck inside the feeder, leaving his head (accurately called ‘the sharp end’ by Simon!) sticking out. All very embarrassing for him, so as soon as Simon cut the wires to free it, he was gone! In fact he left at such a speed our camerawoman may not have kept up with him.
