India inaugurates border airbase

Porbandar, June 13(ANI): India's junior Defence Minister M.M. Pallam Raju inaugurated an airbase of the Coast Guard in western Porbandar, close to Pakistan border on Thursday. The 'Air Enclave', a small airbase, would enable the Indian Coast Guard to launch prompt medical evacuation missions in the Gulf of Kutch region. It would also add to the capability of the Coast Guard, equipped with a fleet of Dornier aircraft and helicopters.
