This video was made for the exhibition, "Parc du Souvenir" at theTalbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh, October 29th - December 17th 2016. It is 2068, and Albert Sitzfleisch is holed-up in the southwest of Ireland, on leave from his job with the Council of Europe, and remembering episodes from his lifes travels. "Sitzfleisch Reflects" considers the legacies of two very different individuals; Patrick Geddes and Gunter Grass, while presenting an oblique portrait of Europe and a blackly humorous meditation on the legacy of the Enlightenment.
