A new programme, 'Diploma in Community Wellness, Empowerment, Leadership and Lifeskills (CWELL)' developed and run in partnership by the University of Limerick and St Mary's Community was recently launched. The programme was launched by Minister for Housing & Planning, Jan O'Sullivan at an event held at King John's Castle. Entertainment on the night is provided by St Mary's Tin Whistle Group and St Mary's Prize Band.
The two-year programme starts in January 2014 and classes run one evening per week for 15 weeks (January to May and September to December). Anyone over the age of 18 can apply.
