I got asked to help out Alan from Suss My Bike present a pitch with the chance to win funding to help his business grow, it was cool to see his product in the flesh after seeing sneak previews of it online and to be a part of his pitch.

Suss My Bike is a Mountain bike suspension tuning device to help you get the most from your forks and shock.

I also bumped into the Veloeye guys which is a Bike security / registration system, they were kind enough to let me have a couple of sets to help protect my bikes.

The Veloeye Bike security system provides a bike registration system that is not only a visual deterrent but also aids recovery of a stolen bike.

Veloeye uses a tamper resistant label with a unique QR code and FREE app to register all of your bikes details in 1 system. If the bike is stolen instant alerts are posted on Facebook and Twitter with notifications sent to bike shops and cycling clubs via the app. These alerts will show the exact location where the bike was stolen from.

Veloeye will also email the owner with full details of the bike in a format ready to take to the police to register the crime. If a bike is located with a Veloeye sticker a simple scan with the free app will show if it has been reported stolen or not. The app will then tell the owner the exact location where the bike has been found.

I then went and had a look at Transgression Skatepark in Edinburgh.
