A Super8 cine film taken by Ken Hedley showing the departure of the last steam loco from South Blyth Shed, Northumberland in September 1967. There is a glimpse of an old snowplough that had been used on the Morpeth to Rothbury Branch. The roofless loco shed can be seen in the background. The roof was removed as a solution to the problem reported by loco crew of the shed always being too full of smoke! A commentary taken from Ken in 2006 has been added along with background sound effects. The original cine was silent.
