Niamh Beddy performing Five Bagatelles by Carl Vine (b. 1954) Niamh Beddy is a London based pianist studying with Hilary Coates at Trinity College of Music. Prior to this she studied at the Junior Department of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and Woldingham School where she held a music scholarship. Other awards included a scholarship to study at the Birmingham International Piano Academy in 2010. She has recently reached been a finalist in the Alfred Kitchen Solo Piano Competition, The Lillian Ash French Song Competition, and was the winner of the John Halford Piano Competition -- performing the Carl Vine '5 Bagatelles'. Niamh has recently been sponsored by the WAM foundation travel to India where she will teach at the Amadeus Academy of Music in Kerala.
