After all the comments you guys gave me on the last automated treefarm I went out and created a monster. 1 Bonemeal per tree, is sapling sufficient and devours the tree whole.

I still like the smaller, less resource intesive tree farm and there should a tutorial for that farm.

It's just extremely resource-heavy. I couldn't see myself making this in survival.
