Germany's domination of the women's luge continued at the Vancouver Games.
Tatjana Huefner ensured that Germany maintained its grip on the Olympic women's luge event by sliding to gold.
The 26-year-old, who won bronze at Torino 2006 won the first two runs, and three of the four runs overall, winning by a comfortable 0.49 seconds.
The German women have been virtually unbeatable in luge in the last decade, but Austria's Nina Reithmayer prevented a third Olympic clean sweep for Germany by winning silver. Natalie Geisenberger won the bronze.
