Der Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin zeigte vom 14. bis 25. September das Werk "Angst II" von Anne Imhof (geb. 1978 in Gießen, lebt in Frankfurt am Main).
Angst ist eine Oper in drei Akten, die sich zeitlich und räumlich über drei Stationen erstreckt: Die Kunsthalle Basel, die Nationalgalerie im Hamburger Bahnhof und La Biennale de Montréal widmeten Anne Imhof im Jahr 2016 drei Ausstellungen, die – wie drei Akte – miteinander verbunden sind. Einen ersten Akt präsentierte die Künstlerin als Auftakt im Juni 2016 in der Kunsthalle Basel. "Angst II" in Berlin bildete den Höhe- und Wendepunkt dieses Werkkomplexes.
Im Hamburger Bahnhof schuf die Künstlerin für die Dauer von 10 Abenden eine malerische Komposition, die sich aus Musik, Texten, skulpturalen Elementen und Akteuren, Falken und gesteuerten Drohnen zu einem Gesamtbild zusammenfügte.

"Angst" is an opera in three acts that stretch temporally and spatially over three stations: Kunsthalle Basel, Berlin’s Nationalgalerie – Hamburger Bahnhof and La Biennale de Montréal have presented three exhibitions with the work of Anne Imhof in 2016 that, like three acts, are linked to one another. A first act was presented by the artist in June 2016 at Kunsthalle Basel. "Angst II" in Berlin formed the climax and turning point of this work complex. At Hamburger Bahnhof, the artist presented a pictorial composition for a limited time for ten days, consisting of music, text, sculptural elements and actors, falcons, and controlled drones that formed an overall picture.
