There are 2 vintage components at work here. First the Newcomb AV-10V mono tube phonograph from the late 1950's/early 60's is playing the oldies record we are hearing on this video. Second component is a Sony TC-900 mono portable, solid state, open reel tape recorder(Not Pictured) from the late 1960's that was used to record the sound from the phonograph speaker using the external microphone that is supplied with the recorder, and I placed the microphone about 2 feet from the front of the phonograph's 6 by 9 inch oval shaped speaker. Not sure of the tape brand that was used in the recording process here, it was already mounted on the recorder tape reel, and it seems to be a very good tape for being as old as it is, in regards to both it's condition, and performance.
