Tanuja Desai Hidier is an author/singer-songwriter born and raised in the USA and currently based in London. Her first novel, Born Confused, is now considered a classic work, recently hailed by both Rolling Stone Magazine and Entertainment Weekly as one of the best young adult novels of all time. Her first album, When We Were Twins (songs based on Born Confused), was featured in Wired Magazine for being the first-ever ‘booktrack’. Her new novel, Bombay Blues, launches at JLF along with her ‘booktrack’ album of original accompanying songs, Bombay Spleen. Tanuja will be accompanied by album contributor Gaurav Vaz (of The Raghu Dixit Project) for a ‘rock-n-reading’ acoustic set.
