0:22 This sequence allows starting your web application as System under Test (SUT) . QF-Test uses a browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari as well as headless browser testing for Chrome and Firefox to show and test the web application.
The Quickstart Wizard can be reached from the “Extras Menu” and the qustion mark "?" on the "Start recording" button.

0:42 It guides you through the necessary steps to create a setup sequence.
You are asked for information like the URL of the website or type of the browser and the place where it’s installed.

1:47 There is also a summary page after having clicked through the Quickstart Wizard.

2:14 The result of the assistant (Quickstart Wizard) is a setup node placed into the Testsuite .
Playback of this sequence starts you’re the browser as System under Test (SUT) and shows the website. Afterwards it can be controlled by QF-Test.

3:53 In the Web area, beside static HTML pages, dynamic technologies such as AJAX, HTML5 and DOM in particular are a challenge for test tools. QF-Test offers an outstanding and powerful approach here also for Electron applications. QF-Test can test web pages cross-browser: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome (also Chromium based), Edge, Opera and Safari. Headless browser versions of Chrome and Firefox. Electron Applications can be tested as well.
QF-Test supports completely frameworks like Angular, React and Vue.js. Also extensions for dedicated UI toolkits are integrated in QF-Test, like Smart (GWT), ExtGWT, ExtJS, ICEfaces, jQuery UI, jQueryEasyUI, Kendo UI, PrimeFaces, Qooxdoo, RAP, RichFaces, Vaadin and ZK.
Further (e.g. SAP UI5, Siebel Open UI, Salesforce) and future web toolkits can be integrated with little effort. Near-term individual adjustments (CustomWebResolver) are possible via an optimized interface.
