Train 1:
An all-EMD lashup moves west on Union Pacific's Geneva Sub in Chicago's Austin neighborhood at Central Avenue. SD90/43MAC #8195 and SD70Ms #5091 and 4802 are the power.

Train 2:
A CTA Green Line train makes its stop at Central.

Train 3:
Heading east into the city, another UP manifest, with two SD90s and an SD70M, passes the 'L' station.

Trains 4 and 5:
As the freight passes, an inbound CTA Green Line train departs, followed by a six-car train of new, out-of-service 5000-series cars, freshly returned from the manufacturer.

Train 6:
F40PH-2 #168 leads a seven-car outbound Metra UP-West Line train.

Trains 7 and 8:
Having left Chicago for Franklin Park at B-12 interlocking, here, Metra Milwaukee District West Line trains head out and inbound within a few minutes of each other.

Train 9:
Bathed in a golden light, UP C40-8Ws #9444 and 9454 slowly drag a freight off the Indiana Harbor Belt and onto the Canadian Pacific, headed for Bensenville Yard.

Train 10:
Norfolk Southern power- C40-9W #9546 and SD70M-2 #2744- haul a CP train across River Road on the east side of Franklin Park.

Train 11:
An outbound Metra MD-West Line train pops out from behind a waiting CP train

Train 12:
The Canadian Pacific freight gets clearance to proceed through B-12, with two ES44s leading.
