What I tried to do, was enhance the voices in the background, so you can hear what the director of photography replies to Bales attack.
According to several websites, the "DP" is Shane Hurlbut, though I could swear Bale refers to him as Bruce (Franklin), the only bruce credited in the production crew. You also hear how director "McG" deals or not deals with the situation - obviously not even seing what's going on, on his own set.
What I did practically was to enhance the soundstrength on the vague noices you hear in the background. Then i used a parametric equalizer filter to strengthen the frequencies these voices use. Obviously, it is Christian Bales microphone capturing the whole thing, which usually is hidden in the hair or jacketsleeve.
