Hello YouTube Friends, KISS 'Keep It Simple Sharpening'
In this video we are back to sharpening. Sadly, most factory edges are not sharp, Oh, they cut, but they are not sharp. The Ganzo G710 is surprisingly factory sharp but not to my standards of sharp. I sharpen to the factory edge of 23°. The only reason I use a coarse Gold Series Diamond stone is because I know from previous Ganzo G710 knives the heel needs additional work. Four stones, 30 minutes and my StropMan strop bring this knife to a mirror polished, razor's edge. The sharpening process is quick and simple as the KME holds the knife to the precise factory bevel. The Gold Series Diamonds cut quick, cut clean and ultimately finish with a nice polish. I hope this video helps to encourage you to keep your knives, "Razor Sharp"
