Angela McNeeley was born with developmental dysplasia of the hip, which means there was a problem with the formation of her hip joint. When discovered early hip dysplasia can be treated with special harnesses or casts. But for children like Angela, whose hip dysplasia wasn't diagnosed until she was five years old, treatment is much more serious.
