You could say it was a"long distance job interview". Army Captain Charles Ackley interviewed for a job at RIT with Saunders College of Business - but he did it while deployed in Afghanistan with the Army National Guard. The unusual part: Captain Ackley did the phone interview at 3am in the morning their time while on call as a Medivac. With RIT's assistance, Ackley got home two weeks early - in time to see his 5 year old get on a school bus for the first time to start kindergarten. He is now Assistant Director of Graduate Marketing and Recruitment at Saunders College of Business.
