Right outside the downtown Denver Sheraton Hotel, a group of supposed anarchists rioted and acted against direction from highly synchronized SWAT teams. The Hotel went on lockdown and closed all of the hotel's vents so mist from the pepper spray used by law enforcement wouldn't seep into the building.

Denver is not only full of celebrities and party allies, but reports that are flocking every square inch of this city. Notice all of the photojournalists who are very much in the middle of this ordeal! These journalists did not rush far from their intended path to be at the front lines of this demonstration.

This video was shot while standing behind the blue drape of the New York delegation reception ballroom. From hotel employees, Democrats from New York and even a journalist from a local broadcast station, we had front row seats.

During the speech of Ted Kennedy and Michelle Obama, the city of Denver had its own extravaganza to resolve before the mounds of delegates, officials and ladies with CRAZY hats headed back to refresh for the evening packed with parties and receptions.

I give major kudos to the swift and efficient work of Denver's law enforcement.
