This was a major game for me. I borrowed off a friend when I first tried and since we had cartridges, everything was already unlocked, so rather than go through learning the steps like games always do I got to jump straight into the action. I loved it all the more when I learned it picks up right off from Banjo-Kazooie! That's how you do a sequel, don't make the player have to get the stuff they did in the first game all over again, just give them more! Banjo-Tooie made sure to take out nothing and only add more to the already perfect formula. I'm nopt fond of sandbox worlds usually, but anything from Rareware, namely this, is always good in my book. I still come back to this game often not for actual gameplay, but just to run around the worlds. They're big, but it doesn't take you 5 hours to get someplace, it's the perfect size, speed, 2000 released hit after hit after hit, and Banjo-Tooie had the honor of helping make 2000 such an epic year.
