...and we have baby geese! These two groups are part of a crèche. There are two females and one male in the pic. Since Canada Geese generally mate for life, they only take a new mate when theirs dies. However, sometimes two broods will combine. The one female with the youngest chicks doesn't have a mate... I have no idea what happened. The chicks look like they were hatched about a week apart, maybe closer to two weeks.
