The SafeYouth@Work MEDIA COMPETITION and the SafeYouth Congress are key components of the SafeYouth@Work PROJECT – a global project undertaken with support from U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor and Human Trafficking - http://bit.ly/UsDOL .

Did you know young people are 40% more likely than others to be injured at work due to a lack of job training, experience and knowledge of their rights?

The SafeYouth@Work Media Competition seeks to prevent workplace accidents and injuries by raising awareness of youth vulnerability. The competition is carried out in conjunction with the International Media Festival for Prevention and the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.

We want to hear what youth around the world, aged 15 to 24, have to say on staying safe at work. Winning entries will be featured at the World Congress on Safety and Health in Singapore, 3-6 September 2017. Selected winners will be flown to Singapore to share their ideas on safety and health for young workers, at the World Congress. More @ http://bit.ly/SafeYouthMedia .
