An after school club is detecting particles created by nuclear decay or cosmic radiation through a particle track detector, linked to the large hadron collider at CERN in Switzerland. The Abingdon Science Partnership is encouraging pupils aged 15 to 18 to research and experiment independently with high tech equipment.
