Johanneshof Cellars' Pinot Noir Vineyard "Maybern" in Marlborough, New Zealand

This time lapse is taken of one of the first tasks in our Pinot Noir vines - which have since grown and ripened, and will shortly be harvested for use in our Johanneshof Cellars Pinot Noir and Methode Traditionnelle Emmi.
With cloud formations reminiscent of a scene from Doctor Who, this is actually a worker on our Maybern Vineyard in Spring, undertaking the challenging task of Wire Lifting on a 30 degree slope!
Wire lifting is used to contain the young vigorous shoots and protect them from snapping off.
