It was bloody cold outside, about 4F but dog needed to get out so I drove up from Boulder on icy roads to the Switzerland Trail to take him for a walk in the white stuff and test out the Camera.
I was happy with the quality however the camera did complain about the cold a little with a warning about there being moisture in the tape mechanism but after some expletives I ignored the message and put it down to the cold. It was after all the second time I'd ever used the camera.
I had her in set to 30p. Encoding was done on my Mac using compressor. Crunching down the video for upload take for EVER, I want to say at least 10x even with a dual core machine with 4 gigs of Ram so to get video this good you're gonna have to work for it mate!
Remember all you gotta do to get YouTube to make your video HD ready is upload a video with HD dimensions, in my cast I used 720p dimensions (1280 x 720)
