Tell me about your day so far!
So I was supposed to post yesterday, but i didn't want to post without the name of the character, so I did pick a winner, and you'll see if you won next time the story is posted:D
I'm going to chicago until wedneday, so i dont know when i'll be able to update:(
I'll try to at night though!
But i've had a good christmas so far!We watched the Jonas brothers at the parade, and opened gifts, and now im waiting for food because im SO hungry!
haha anyways, enjoy the story!
"Oh my god! I am so sorry!" I groaned, just worried about his clothes.
He started laughing. Why would he laugh! Im sure that outfit hes wearing is pretty expensive., not to mention that long coat. I knew those pants were Calvin Klein, and I couldnt help but smile to myself, but that was for a moment when I realized Megan. If I come back without coffee who knows what shed do to me.
"Oh. Shes going to be so angry!" I said to myself, not realizing he heard.
"Whos going to be angry?" Hes a curious kind I can see.
"My boss. If I go back without her coffee, I might as well just tell her that her dog is dead."
He laughed again. "Well , I could walk back with you and get another if youd like me to."
I usually wouldnt do this if it were some sort of stranger.. which he is, but he seemed nice enough. I couldnt see much behind his sunglasses, but he did have a nice smile.
"Umm, sure. Itd be nice to not walk back by myself."
We both turned back around, on our way to the coffee shop once again. It was pretty quiet on the walk, but I was just observing him. Its something I do. He had gorgeous, dark brown curly hair, normal height, and seemed pretty cute to me. His sunglasses were definitely designer. I could tell from the way they were made. Studying style has really made me pay attention to outfits, and from the looks of it, it seems like a stylist themselves put together his outfit.
Once we got to the store, I ordered only one coffee for Megan. Id just have to do without. I was searching for money in my purse when the guy put money on the table.
"My treat. It was my fault for running into you, so the least I can do is pay."
I smiled. "You dont have to. Im sure it was my fault."
But it was too late the cranky man behind the counter took the money, and after a few minutes, he sighed through the speaker.
"An extremely complicated coffee?"
Well. Someone hates life.
I glared at him, then turned to the stranger. "Well, thank you. Ive really got to get going. Working my butt off these past weeks."
"No problem. I definitely know what thats like." He smiled.
Yah right. Im sure his job isnt nearly as painfully scheduled as mine. When I realized the time, I ran out the door. Running in these heels better pay off. Megan better be in a better mood than I am, but since meeting him, my mood got just a bit better. All I could think about was getting across the buy streets of the city and getting into the fancy office buildings, before my face fell off from all the cold.
I was running through the street, when a cab came to a complete stop and honked at me. I couldnt help but give him the finger. Not in the mood for being close be getting run over. The snow was softly falling down, then giving me the great idea of falling. So maybe it wasnt my idea but it was definitely my legs idea. I groaned to myself, but kept making my way to the building only a block away. This day keeps getting worse. I finally made my way through the glass doors to the receptionist, Kim.
"Please do me a favor, Kim. Can you give this to Megan while I get to my office. You know how she is without her coffee."
Kim laughed and nodded her head. My heels clicking against the tile, I finally reached my office, dropping onto the chair, with my arms blown out to the side. There has not been one good thing today. Well, actually, I got a free coffee. It wasnt actually free since I dropped both- wait. That guy. He made my day a bit better. What was his name? Good God. I didnt even ask his name! Im an idiot. Who goes to a coffee shop with some random stranger, and doesnt ask his name! So Im wrong. The day just got back to worse again because of my stupidity.
