Physics so hot they had to put it on ice!
Six physicists from across the country competed by each giving an entertaining, 10-minute presentation of their physics research to the general public. The physicists were judged by an applause meter.
This event took place at the Ridder hockey arena at University of Minnesota. The Slam was a public outreach activity organized during the Snowmass conference by members of the University of Minnesota, Fermi National Accelerator Lab and the Division of Particles and Fields of the APS.
