This was a pretty sunset from the top of Spencer's Butte in Eugene, OR. We're very close to the Equinox, so the sunset is getting earlier each week, and moving South rapidly. The weather pattern is changing from dry to wet, which creates interesting cloud patterns.
The part of the sunset where the sun is in the frame is difficult to photograph. The D20 does better than most because of its relatively simple 5X lens. This video shows a marked lens flare at the top and a bright reflection of the sun to the right of the sun. The next time, I'll try pointing the camera so the sun is in the center, and the reflections are covered up by the sun.
Another minor problem is that the 1/3200 shutter time setting doesn't produce a perfectly accurate exposure from frame to frame, causing a little "flickering" in the video.
