Ross Douthat discusses heresy, orthodoxy and the institutions that make us who we are, giving insightful and thought provoking analysis of North America's contemporary religious climate.

Ross is a regular op-ed contributer for the New York Times, a conservative catholic, and the author of the best-selling book Bad Religion: How We Became a Nation of Heretics. In 2014 he was the guest speaker for Regent College's Laing Lectures, providing both cultural critique of our decadence but also a caution against apocalyptic thinking in a series called "Settling in to a Decadent Decline."
